Yeah, what shadowandflame said - more specifically, the "we can't let gay people adopt because their children will be bullied" argument was (and is, even though gay adoption is now legal in Sweden) the main one used by the Christian Democrats here, of "We don't hate gays but you know you are unnatural right" fame.
