May. 13th, 2011 04:19 pmOh - and I've got a wheelchair on a monthly loan now, along with a new and improved pair of crutches. This should hopefully make life a little less boring. :)
That's all.
If you're wondering when on earth I became capable of writing short posts: today my net access is via mobile phone.

Date: 2011-05-13 08:42 pm (UTC)...I've always wanted to ride on a wheelchair. I know that's kind of horrible, but still.

Date: 2011-05-14 07:03 am (UTC)I'm happy to be able to tell you, that since the school we're in is very new (finished 2002 or thereabouts) it is supposed to be completely accessible for wheelchairs etc

Date: 2011-05-14 07:26 am (UTC)The only problem is that they don't have that many elevators so it'll be a lot *zwoom to one end of the building* *elevator up* *zwoom back to other end of building* ^^;
But the worst accessibility venue I ever was in, was the anime/gaming con Närcon's old place. Very old, very worn school with stairs everywhere. Like that whole two steps up to get in the front door thing, just because. And the backdoor too.
Then the only handicap fitted toilet in the building we had our karaoke room in was three floors up! And the bloody elevator was closed, because it was dangerous to ride in !!! I- I just don't get it
(and I got to notice all the stairs the year I sprained my foot badly first day of the con)
