It doesn't seem like I'll stop moving any time soon, and if I actually do want to talk about stuff what I'm up to - because I really am up to a lot - I should basically change my access-locking policy for this journal. I'll think about that over the weekend when I will maybe have the chance to sit down for at least a couple of minutes.
The public version is that my first day was terrible, but all the days since then have been at least rather better (I've got actually completely lost and not been able to find the place I was aiming for once, which isn't really bad odds considering how many new places I've been to this week). On the other hand, my predecessor said that he'd rung people to let them know he wasn't going to be working for my employer any more; no-one seems to have any knowledge of the change-over, though.
So my Swedish is getting some practice after all. Hello, I am the new new member of staff! Yes, I know you got one just last week! Yes, I promise I am real! etc.
Outside of vague references to work, I have got a BBC news feed on my phone just now but am thinking of taking it away again because I just get angry really.
