I'm accepted at Stockholm university, but denied funding. I'll study anyway but sigh, this means another winter in our way too small flat and also even more really cheap food. None of this is unexpected but I'm feeling less than enthused about the financial side of things.

Denied funding? WTF? But I'm glad you were accepted, at any rate.

Rules! You can't get funding if you haven't been in Sweden at least two years. I'll be a few months short still when term starts. I tried to appeal since I know it's worked for some other people but nah. Mum is going to pay my transport costs and we'll abuse the library system like little maniacs for course books (sorry, don't cry >> ).
