God, Europe. I just don't know.


1. Current rage: fuck you, France. The xenophobia that seems built into discussions of Roma is seriously depressing. They are, obviously, ALL thieves and villains. Erm... wait.

2. General ongoing background rage: Denmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark. The 24 year rule isn't news, but that doesn't mean I can't continue being pissed off at it. Also, this. (Making a superhuman effort to not read the comments...)

My life in the West has taught me that as long as one doesn't look white, then one will always be seen as Other or foreign. Different dynamics in other places but essentially the same idea. And frankly, I'm way too Chinese to not stand out anywhere I go, really. 3:
